Victoria Beckham's BFF Katie Holmes is the new face of the Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaing for Miu Miu.The atmospheric color ads are also shot by Mert & Marcus and feature the actress against a blazing sky that the label says is meant to evoke “a certain Fellini-esque chaotic excess.” As for the star herself, a statement from Miu Miu explains that she “portrays a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality.” We just know that Holmes has never looked more glamorous.

Anticipated Prada S/S ’09 campaign is out. I love its ads because every season I have to expect something new. First it was Sasha Pivovarova, then – Linda Evangelista, and now a bunch of newcomers like Viktoriya Sosonkina, Toni Garrn, Ymre Stiekema, Katrin Thormann, Nimue Smit, Sigrid Agren and Giedre Dukauskaite. All are known as the new muses of Steven Meisel, who shot this campaign. The campaign was inspired by ancient stone bas-reliefs and a desire to return to basic emotional and physical dimensions in classical art and early culture.
